The AAT Foundation Bookkeeping Level 2 qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge to manage books effectively – covering manual double entry bookkeeping, and the associated documents and processes, up to Trial Balance standard.

The AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping Level 2 is perfect for those who are new to finance or if you’re simply looking to brush up on your foundation knowledge and skills.

These courses are suitable for those:
  • Working in accounts who would like a formal accounting qualification
  • Looking to gain new skills to help with a career change
  • Looking for an introduction to accounting and finance
  • Wanting to formalise foundation knowledge before progressing on to higher AAT qualifications
What you’ll learn:
  • How to execute the principles of double-entry bookkeeping
  • Understand journals, control accounts and a trial balance.
How much will the course cost?

How is the course assessed?

The course will be assessed by practical computer based assessments which are available to sit periodically throughout the year.
