MSc HR Management top-up
Acacia Learning has teamed up with Edinburgh Napier University to provide CIPD Human Resource Management Level 7 Advanced graduates with a Masters in Human Resource Management Top-up Programme. This is a 12 month part time study programme which is delivered LIVE online.
Edinburgh Napier University has been supporting CIPD students to undertake their MSc in Human Resource Management (HRM) for over 25 years. They have received commendations of good practice from the UK body, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development CIPD, for their innovative and rigorous approach to design and delivery of the dissertation.
Aimed at students looking to top-up a postgraduate HRM qualification with a research project and graduate with a Masters degree. The 9 month part time LIVE online programme aims to develop your knowledge, competencies and professional skills that will help address the challenges facing modern organisations. The entry requirement for this course is a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or CIPD Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management or Human Resource Development.

– January, attend x3 Live online workshops run by Dr Kirsteen Grant.
– Submit one-page initial proposal for the research you will undertake.
– Skype meeting to finalise your research proposal (2000 words).
– Get feedback on your proposal & supervisor support to help build your research.
– WebEx session to guide you through the scoping study (7000 words).
– Attend two online workshops to ensure you’re on track.
– August, submit your final 15,000-word dissertation.
The dissertation will build your professional and academic knowledge and expertise on a specific area of HR practice. You can link this to a current work project or choose an area you wish to develop for the future. It will enable you to build your credibility and confidence – not only aiding your professional development but also your marketability.
