We’ve all got those tricky, complex and reoccurring issues at work. No matter what we do to try and come up with ways to tackle them, we just don’t seem to nail the solution.
This used to happen in the digital technology world until designers, coders and developers discovered Hackathons. Hackathons can run for 2 days or 2 hours but are a solid, uninterrupted time to focus on solving and creating smart solutions.
At Acacia Learning we’re working with HR’s best known Hackathon Guide, Perry Timms, to bring this HR Hackathon experience to you!
On 16th October, you’re invited to bring some of your work challenges to our first HR Hackathon. Delegates will work with Perry through the methodology via 4 sprints, and with your fellow HR Hackers, create the start of the solution to take back and test, experiment and implement.
At our Hackathon you will:
- Understand what a Hackathon is, how they’re run and what they set out to achieve;
- Experiment in small squads to try the method out for yourself and learn in the most hands on way possible;
- Be given tools to take this back and run some mini-hackathons with your teams.
Delegates will receive a Certificate of attendance from Perry! You’re sure to learn; innovate and be energised by this approach and will be left wanting to do more hackathons to create new ways to deliver impactful HR in your organisations.
