ILM Level 2 Leadership & Team Skills Training

The ILM Level 2 qualifications are ideal for practicing team leaders, helping them become more effective and confident in their role. They also support new or aspiring team leaders – helping them make the transition from working in a team to leading a team.

The training course covers core leadership and team management skills. Delegates will learn how to put these skills into practice in their workplace. Upon successful completion attendees will learn new techniques to improve team performance and get a nationally recognised qualification.

What you’ll learn

This training programme will help delegates to gain a range of key solution-oriented management skills and capabilities to develop their own confidence to lead, organise and motivate your teams.

The units in these qualifications cover a wide range of skills, knowledge and understanding. These include units that focus on communication, working with people, providing direction and leadership, and getting results – from problem-solving to planning and monitoring workloads.

Successful learners will also be able to progress to the ILM Level 3 Award or Certificate in Leadership and Management.

Who should attend?

The ILM Level 2 qualification is for new and aspiring team leaders who are looking to move onto the next level of management. Those with managerial responsibilities but no formal training are also suitable for this course. 

Course Duration

The course duration is dependent on the qualification level, but varies from 3 days to 8 days. 

Assessment

Learners will be assessed from a range of project work and assignments.
