How do I know which level to choose?

The AAT Level 2 foundation qualifications are ideal for those wishing to gain a foundation knowledge of accounting skills including book-keeping, basic costing principles and using accounting software.

These courses are suitable for those who are:
  • working in accounts who would like a formal accounting qualification
  • looking to gain new skills to help with a career change
  • looking for an introduction to accounting and finance
  • wanting to formalise foundation knowledge before progressing on to higher AAT qualifications

The AAT Level 3 advanced qualifications will provide you with the knowledge and skills to master complex accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants.

  • working in finance and would like a formal recognition of skills
